The workforce of an organisation should reflect the society in which it operates.
Network Rail identified that to do this, they needed to communicate a clear and positive message that diversity and inclusion is at the heart of their recruitment policy. The result was the Choose Wessex campaign for the Wessex division.
Partnering with Local Media Network, we produced a series of videos that drew upon the personal experiences of Network Rail team members to show how people are supported and developed. We combined hero shots of our people in and around the busy Waterloo Station with interviews and other cutaways where we got to really use the architecture for some shot compositing.
Catherine Chesterman from Network Rail went on to be recognised for the Choose Wessex campaign by the national Network Rail organisation in their 20by20 project and the transition into gender matters awards. Colleagues were nominated for recognition for promoting gender equality in Network Rail.
