Employer Brand Agency SMRS commissioned us to film events during the 'Let's Do The Extraordinary' recruitment campaign for House of Fraser. For this project, we got to feature eight people who have built their careers with House of Fraser in all different parts of the business. Each person is quite literally put in the centre of the picture as they are photographed in a studio after a personal shopping session and a make-over. What makes each person unique is their interests and experiences in life and these are represented by a collage of photography and illustraion depicting why they are stars in their own right.
We created a film to show the exciting journey the people featured went on from ordinary colleague to extraordinary poster star which features within the House of Fraser recruitment site. We also created a series of individual profile edits of each person to get their own story.
The mixture of bold photography, video content and animated illustration helped SMRS to win best Employer Brand at the 2015 In-House Recruitment Awards. This is a great example of how creative video production can colourfully augment a marketing campaign with great visual content.
